Subject: Does Linux run happily on a TC machine?
Date: Fri, 19 Mar 1993 16:23:13 GMT

I am looking at purchasing a machine from TC, primarily to run Linux.
This company offers a wide selection of drives, video cards, monitors,
etc. so I can easily pick compatible components. Unfortunately, there
is nothing in the official Linux compatibility list about the TC
motherboard itself. It uses an AMI BIOS, but that's all I know.
If there is anyone out there who has ever booted Linux on a TC,
please let me know. I'm particularly concerned about the floating
point exception handling (486DX2/66).
