Subject: Adaptec 1542c (VERSION C) failed to be recognized!!!!!!!!!
Date: Wed, 17 Mar 1993 06:38:18 GMT

I'm trying to boot SLS and install it. However, the kernel fail to recognize
my new SCSI interface Adaptec 1542c (VERSION C, distributed on 22 March, 93)

The IDE is recognized, but not the SCSI host! Of course, if the host is not
recognized, the drives are not recognized either.

I'm desperate! Please help!

Any ideas/thought/clue?

I'd greatly appreciate anyone who can mail me the solution.
BTW, do I need a driver to run Linux with SCSI?

Thank you for any help!

Chris.
