Subject: Slow DOS boot after installing SLS 0.99pl6
Date: 17 Mar 1993 00:03:56 -0800

My DOS takes about 30 sec longer to boot after installing the
latest SLS pakages (a--x). NDD and chkdsk report that there
is no problem with the DOS partion. Soft-boots are not affected.
Any ideas?

386/33 AMI motherboard, 240 M Quantum hd, ATI GUP+mouse, 24 M RAM, MSDOS 5.0
Linux was installed on /dev/hda2 (180 M) using fdisk and mke2fs with
no swap file or partitions. Kernel was recompiled to accomodate 24 M RAM.
(Yes, with new dependencies).

Thank you, NH
