Just a word for those of you here that have not heard of PCGEOS. Check out the
group comp.os.msdos.pcgeos for details. It is true that there aren't any third
party apps for it yet. But the latest news is that the SDK for version 2.0 is
due this spring. If you know what OSF/MOTIF looks like then you know what GEOS
looks like and how it behaves. I won't go into it here but that is part of the
reason for my interest in this group and unix in general....
I think that PCGEOS is really going to take off with 2.0 because it reputes to
be easier to develop for than Windows and may be the next best thing to running
unix/linux on a PC depending on your needs. So check out the FAQ on the GEOS
group if you are curious.
